WHPK, the student-managed community radio station, broadcasts at 88.5 FM to much of the South Side of Chicago and to the rest of the world on the Web at whpk.net. WHPK is operated 24 hours a day, 365 days a year from its studio in Mitchell Tower, where the station also has its large record library.  WHPK's formats include specialty shows, rock, jazz, classical, folk, dance, international, rap, and public affairs. The station aims to educate listeners by playing an eclectic mix of music that they are unlikely to hear anywhere else on the radio.
