Art in Chicago

Art Institute of ChicagoChicago is home to a lively art scene, with a dedication to public art not found in many other cities. Besides the more than 200 public sculptures by such artists as Picasso, Miró, and Chagall, the city also sponsors several temporary outdoor art installations each summer. Then there are the galleries and exceptional museums, among them the highly regarded Art Institute of Chicago and the Museum of Contemporary Art.
